“Support to Georgia’s Researchers’ Mobility” Programme is funded by the European Union and implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The purpose of the programme is to promote the cooperation among EU member states’ and Georgia’s research communities, increase the mobility of Georgian researchers and innovators and contribute to their integration in the European Research Area (ERA). In the long run, Georgian Researchers’ Mobility Support Programme aims at stimulating joint R&I results as well as collaborative R&I projects in the framework of Horizon Europe and other EU R&I funding schemes.

The objective of the programme is to deepen internationalization of Georgia’s STI sector, advance Georgian researchers’ networking and contribute to the establishment of professional links with the respective counterparts from the EU, as well advance the capacity of Georgian research universities, scientific centres, research funding institutions, research-intensive SMEs and other public and/or private institutions involved in collaboration with the European research entities.

To achieve the above, the following actions will be implemented:

• To design and administer the special funding scheme Researcher Mobility Programme(RMP) for Georgian researchers and innovators in order to increase the scope of the scientific community’s international cooperation and participation in mid-term mobility, thus promoting transnational and inter-institutional networking and collaboration with colleagues in research entities(universities, institutes/centres, business) in the EU member states.Elaboration and launching of a new, EU funded Researchers’ Mobility support programme will greatly enhance the researchers and innovators’ professional contacts, stimulate their joint research work and promote further collaboration among Georgian and European R&I communities.

• To enhance the capacity of Georgia’s R&I community and share EU best practices in R&I proposal writing and research grant management, thus advancing the skills of Georgian researchers and innovators for EU Horizon Europe and otherEU R&I funding schemes and programmes.

საქართველოს მკვლევართა მობილობის მხარდაჭერის პროგრამა დაფინანსებულია ევროკავშირის მიერ და მას ახორციელებს გერმანიის აკადემიური გაცვლის სამსახური (DAAD)

‍

პროგრამა მიზნად ისახავს საქართველოს მეცნიერების, ტექნოლოგიებისა და ინოვაციების სექტორის ინტერნაციონალიზაციას და ევროპის კვლევით სივრცეში ინტეგრაციის ხელშეწყობას;  ევროკავშირის წევრ ქვეყნებისა და საქართველოს მკვლევრებს შორის პროფესიული თანამშრომლობის წახალისების მიზნით საქართველოს მკვლევრების მობილობის მხარდაჭერას, ასევე, საქართველოს სამეცნიერო დაწესებულებების, კვლევითი უნივერსიტეტების, კვლევის დამფინანსებელი ინსტიტუციების და კვლევებში ჩართული მცირე და საშუალო საწარმოების შესაძლებლობების გაძლიერებას.

პროგრამის ამოცანებს წარმოადგენს: 

• საქართველოს მკვლევრებისათვის მობილობის საგრანტო კონკურსის გამოცხადება და ადმინისტრირება სამეცნიერო საზოგადოების საერთაშორისო  თანამშრომლობის გაძლიერებისა  და ინტერ ინსტიტუციური ქსელის გაფართოების  მიზნით ევროკავშირის წევრ ქვეყნებში;

• ევროკავშირის საუკეთესო გამოცდილების გაზიარება პროგრამა „Horizon Europe” და  ევროპის სხვა საგრანტო სქემებში საქართველოს მკვლევართა მონაწილეობის გაზრდის მიზნით.
