Meeting with researchers in Batumi

On the 10^th of May, 2022, an information meeting was organized at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University in the frame of the “Support to Georgia’s Researchers’ Mobility” Programme.

The aim of the information meetings was to present “Support to Georgia’s Researchers’ Mobility” Programme, its goal and objectives, introduce researchers’ mobility funding scheme and upcoming capacity building trainings for Georgian researchers. The meeting were attended by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University’s academic personnel and other researchers, residents of Batumi.

During the meeting, the project team members, team leader Mr. Peter Debreczeni and deputy team leader Ms. Nino Gachechiladze presented:

• Overall  and specific objectives of the programme;
• Programme components;
• Primary and secondary target groups;
• Mobility funding scheme, its timeline and budget;
• Planned capacity building trainings for Georgian researchers.

The meeting ended with a Q&A session while the audience had a chance to ask questions and receive answers from the project team.
