Meetings with Georgian researchers in Tbilisi

In the frame of the “Support to Georgia’s Researchers’ Mobility” Programme several information meetings were organized with the representatives of HEI and research centers. 

The aim of these information meetings was to present “Support to Georgia’s Researchers’ Mobility” Programme, its goal and objectives, introduce researchers’ mobility funding scheme and upcoming capacity building trainings for Georgian researchers. The meetings were attended by Georgian researchers in Tbilisi.

During the meetings, the project team members, team leader Mr. Peter Debreczeni and deputy team leader Ms. Nino Gachechiladze presented:

  • Overall  and specific objectives of the programme;
  • Programme components;
  • Primary and secondary target groups;
  • Mobility funding scheme, its timeline and budget;
  • Planned capacity building trainings for Georgian researchers;

Overall,  four information meetings were held at:

  • Tbilisi State University – 11th of April, 2022

The meeting participants included the researchers from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; V. Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire; Tbilisi State Academy of Arts; Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University; National Centre of Manuscripts, G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology and Georgian National Academy of Sciences. 

  • Georgian Technical University – 13th of April, 2022

The meeting participants included the researchers from Georgian Technical University, Sokhumi State University and research institutes within the  DELTA.

  • Ilia State University – 15th of April, 2022

The meeting participants included the researchers from Ilia State University, Tbilisi State Medical University, Free University, Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Ivane Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine.

  • University of Georgia – 18th of April, 2022

The meeting participants included the researchers University of Georgia, David Tvildiani Medical University, Caucasus University, St. Andrew the First-Called GEORGIAN UNIVERSITY Of the Patriarchate of Georgia, Grigol Robakidze University, International Black Sea University, Georgian American University, St. Andrews Georgian University, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), New Vision University, Business and Technology University and East European University.
